LHS Class of 1957 Reunites

The La Grange High School Class of 1957 met at Sealand Restaurant on May 16, for their 69th class reunion. They called it their “Yearly Gathering”. A lot of conversation was exchanged and enjoyed along with plans for next year when they celebrate their 70th class reunion. Future Home of La Grange Brewing Coming Along Downtown

Situated on the corner of Colorado and Main Street, the renovations of the new location of La Grange Brewing Company are underway to bring a new social hub to downtown. The renovations are now progressing at a steady pace after being slowed to bring a building that is centuries old up to modern safety codes.

Correction

In Tuesday’s edition we incorrectly reported that last week’s La Grange graduation was the first in ten years to be sent indoors by the weather. While the 2016 graduation ten years ago was inside, more recently the 2019 graduation was also held indoors.
