The Stanzel Family Foundation, Inc. proudly congratulates the recipients of the Joseph & Victor Stanzel Memorial Scholarship from the class of 2026. The foundation is incredibly proud of each of you.

Jayse Janda, Jamison Bennett, Daysi Rico, and Reagan Dusek, graduates of Schulenburg High School, and Caleigh Brock, a graduate of La Grange High School, have been honored with the Joseph & Victor Stanzel Memorial Scholarship this year. Since 1991, the Joseph & Victor Stanzel Memorial Scholarship has been awarded to 582 local students.

This year, out of 41 applicants, nine students have been chosen as Stanzel Scholars. Each recipient will receive up to $15,000 to help support their undergraduate studies.

Stanzel Scholars receive $1,500 per semester, renewable based on continued eligibility, to support study toward a technical or vocational certification, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree at an accredited university, community college, or trade school.

The Joseph & Victor Stanzel Memorial Scholarship is available to students residing within the Schulenburg or Weimar school districts. Graduating seniors from area public and private schools, as well as homeschool programs,
