The Fayette Area Swim Team (FAST) continued its impressive start to the summer season during its second meet of the year against the Columbus Catfish and Rockdale Aquatics. After an outstanding opening meet, FAST swimmers once again demonstrated the results of their hard work, dedication, and commitment to the sport.

I have worked outside all my life, as a farmer, grounds manager, landscape contractor and rancher, I am always subject to the weather. Cold weather can keep me inside. But hot weather does not slow me down as much as it does most people. You often see me outside in 100 degree temperatures.

La Grange High School played host to a second state qualifying 7-on-7 football tournament Friday. This fast-paced, passing-only, non-tackle version of football has become the primary way skill-position high school athletes stay in football form over the summer.

The Fayette Area Swim Team (FAST) kicked off its 2026 summer season in impressive fashion as they hosted the Schulenburg Sharks and Rockdale Aquatics. FAST, which consists of 116 swimmers ranging in age from 4 to 18 years old, wasted no time making a statement in their first meet of the summer.
