Lady Horns Dominate Hempstead In 3 Sets

The Schulenburg volleyball team defeated Hempstead Friday 25-5, 25-10, 25-10 as the Lady Horns improved to 19-17 overall and 4-2 in district.

Greenli Van Zandt had 14 kills in that match, Haylee Vacek had 10 and Kimber Bartosh had five.

Jenna Guentert led in assists with 28, digs with 10 and aces with eight.

Miranda Bonner had six aces and nine digs. Mallory Bonner had eight digs.

Michaela Kollmann and Vacek each had seven digs for Schulenburg.
