Volleyball Round Up: LHS Wins
Lady Leps Win at Brookshire
The La Grange girls volleyball team defeated Brookshire Royal on the road Tuesday 25-9, 25-16, 25-9.
The Lady Leps are now 16-11 overall and 3-2 in district and host Sealy at 5 p.m. Friday in a district match.
Fayetteville Keeps Rolling
The Fayetteville volleyball team defeated Aggieland Home School Tuesday 25-22, 25-22, 25-16 to improve to 1710 overall.
Maycee Miller led Fayetteville with six kills. Cambree Denham had four kills and Lilly Aldape had three.
Scotti Beseda led in aces with three and in assists with 22. Emily Keilers led in digs with 21 and Beseda and Raelee Denham each had 10 digs.
Schulenburg Falls to East Bernard
The Schulenburg volleyball team was swept by stateranked East Bernard Tuesday as the Lady Horns fell to 3-2 in district and 18-17 overall.
Flatonia Falls to Weimar in Five
