Volleyball Round-Up

• The La Grange volleyball team evened their district record at 2-2 with a four set victory Friday at Navasota.

The Lady Leps (14-12 overall) continue their roadheavy early part of district play Tuesday when they play at Brookshire.

• The Schulenburg volleyball team lost to Columbus Friday 25-27, 22-25, 9-25 as the Lady Horns fell to 18-16 overall and 3-1 in district.

Haylee Vacek had nine kills for Schulenburg and Greenli Van Zandt had seven.

Jenna Guentert had 20 assists. Miranda Bonner led in digs with 20, Guentert had 16 and Vacek had 10.

• The Fayetteville volleyball team lost to Brazos Christian Friday in four sets. The Lady Lions are 16-10 overall.

• The Flatonia volleyball team lost in five sets to Weimar Friday.

The Flatonia girls are now 13-17 overall and 3-1 in district.
