The RTC Solar Car Team Recognized for Successes

Round Top-Carmine ISD Board of Trustees recognized the members of the RT-C Solar Car Team at the Aug. 31 board meeting. Members of the Solar Car Team include Peter Kieke, Grant Kieke, Luther Bockman, Nathan Johnson, William Neese, Miles Neese, Caden Tovey, Daisy Visser, Cooper Riley, and Elliott Cone. The Solar Car Team competed at the Solar Car Challenge at Texas Motor Speedway over the summer. Awards received at the competition include 2nd place overall cruiser, winner of most miles in cruiser division, engineering award, order of the solar cell, and the challenge coin character award.
