Local AAU Relay Team Competes at Junior Olympics

LC Express Track Team based in Giddings recently competed in the mile relay at the AAU Junior Olympics in Des Moines, Iowa. The team placed 11th out of 42 teams in 15 and 16 year-old division. The members of the relay team are (from left) Briyanna Sampson of Smithville, Diamond McKenzie of La Grange, Katelynn Lemke of Rogers and Kamree Wolridge of Lexington. They ran the mile relay in a time of 4:04, a personal record for these ladies.
