Flatonia vs. Kenedy

This Week’s Football Previews

When: 7:30 p.m. Friday Where: Flatonia Records: Flatonia is 3-3 and 1-1 in district. Kenedy is 6-1 and 2-1.

Of Note: What kind of team will Kenedy bring to Flatonia this week? Is it the one that won its first six games of the season, or is it the one that lost 63-20 last week against Ganado ... Kenedy managed just 89 yards rushing last week and sophomore quarterback Jericho Jackson tossed three interceptions ... Flatonia, meanwhile, has had two weeks to prepare for this game after having last Friday off. The Bulldogs started district play with a 41-14 win over Bloomington but then lost to Ganado 39-13. Freshman quarterback Boston Targac continues to look more and more comfortable leading the Flatonia offense.

Last Meeting: Kenedy beat Flatonia 33-3 last year.
