Weber Celebrates 99th Birthday, Four Generations
Fred Weber celebrated his 99th birthday on June 5. Fred grew up on the Weber family farm that straddled the Fayette and Austin County lines. He currently resides in Austin. He is still independent, living alone since his wife of 63 years, Vernell, passed in 2009. He still drives, prepares his meals, attends church, and faithfully watches Astros baseball.
