The Fayette County Fair Commercial Heifer Show and Sale took place on Aug. 25 and 26. 61 Fayette County 4-H and FFA members competed in the following competitions, Recordbook/Interview, Herdsman Quiz, and Salesmanship Contest. 132 head of high-quality bred heifers were exhibited and sold for a total of $431,900 which is a $3,272 per head average, both were records for this event.
