William Keith Finke, 71 of Flatonia, passed away at his home on Feb. 1, 2026.

Evelyn Nelda Hilda (Noak) Kieke at age 97 entered the loving arms of her heavenly God and Father, husband Nelson, and youngest daughter Lisa, on Feb. 2, 2026. She had been surrounded by a loving family of 5 generations.

Thomas Alvin Morgan of La Grange passed away on Feb. 4, 2026.

Glenn Harvey Schubert was born in La Grange on Jan. 11, 1944, the son of Gerhard and Mathilda (Pietsch) Schubert, and grew up on the family farm. He was baptized by Pastor Paul Eifert at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda and was confirmed in March of 1958. He graduated from La Grange High School in May of 1962 and left the family farm to attend Durham College in Austin.

Donald Ray Muzny, went home to be with the Lord on Feb. 4, 2026, at the age of 78.

Beverly Ann Drescher, age 62, passed away peacefully on Feb. 5, 2026, surrounded by family and love.

Beatrice Leal Tamez, 95, was called to the Lord, surrounded by the love and faithfulness of her family on Feb. 2, 2026. Bea was born on Feb. 11, 1930 in Las Violetas, a ranch in the Rio Grande Valley.

Bernadette Minarcik Kovar, of the Willow Springs community, passed away peacefully on Feb. 2, 2026, in Columbus, at the age of 96. Bernadette was born on Dec. 4, 1929, to Joseph and Julia (Bordovsky) Hrachovy in Ellinger. She married Alvin Minarcik on Oct. 14,1947, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fayetteville. Bernadette and Alvin had six children. Bernadette was married to Alvin for 33 years before his sudden death in 1980. She married Jerome Kovar in 1985. He passed away in 1994.

Darlene Fay Weyand, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Jan. 31, 2026, in La Grange at the age of 75. Born on Sept. 24, 1950, in Giddings, she lived a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments, leaving an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Dolores Davis Dooley, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, was called home by her Heavenly Father on Jan. 30, 2026, in La Grange at the age of 93.
