Wenke

Funeral services for Ralph Wenke, 79, of Serbin, are scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Serbin with Rev. John Schmidt officiating. Burial, with military honors provided by the Giddings American Legion York Post 276, will immediately follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. and on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 7-9 a.m. at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings. The family will be present for visitation Friday evening from 5-7 p.m.

Ralph Douglas Wenke was born on Oct. 24, 1946, in the Sand Community in Bastrop County to Quinten Melvin Wenke and Bessie Maud (Schulz) Wenke.

Ralph passed away the afternoon of Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at the Clyde Cosper Veterans Home in Bonham.
