Carolyn (Domann) Lehmann Buscha was born in Loebau, Texas on Jan. 12, 1942, the eldest daughter of Herbert and Dora (Richter) Domann. She was baptized in Loebau in 1942, and Confirmed on March 25, 1956, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Houston. She married Jimmie Lehmann on July 23, 1960, at Holy Cross, Warda. Their marriage was blessed with three daughters: Rhonda, Brenda, and Sandra. After Jimmie’s passing, she married Bobby Buscha, Sr. on July 15, 2017, at Holy Cross.

Bell Josephine Marie (Zigal) Bell lovingly known as Jody age, 96, passed away peacefully on Nov. 6, 2024, in Friendswood.

Melvin Earl Austin of La Grange, known affectionately as Mel to his friends and family, passed away suddenly on Nov. 6, 2024, at the age of 87, in Austin, surrounded by his loving family.

Florence Nadine Patton was born on April 11, 1929, in DeQueen, Ark., the seventh child of Robert Patton and Blanche Van Horn Patton. She was the daughter of migrant workers who traveled between Florida and Michigan following the fruit and vegetable harvest.

Rickey Lawrence Fleck, 77, passed away at his home in West Point, Texas surrounded by his six daughters and his wife on November 1, 2024. Funeral Services are scheduled for 12 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at the New Life Methodist Church in La Grange with interment following at Oak Grove Cemetery in Flatonia. A visitation will be held on the same day from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the church with the family present.

Chief Master Sergeant USAF retired, Eugene Edward Menking, Jr., 102, passed away in Brenham. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Nov.

Funeral services for Junell Schulz, 88 of Serbin, were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2024 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Serbin with Rev. John Schmidt officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
