Visitation will be held on Friday from 9 a.m. until service time at the church. Burial will follow at the Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery.

Edward was born on April 2, 1942, in the Greens Creek Community on the family farm to Albert Buscha and Esther Noack Buscha. He was a graduate of Round Top-Carmine High School. Edward was baptized April 16, 1939, at Greens Creek Church and confirmed on April 11, 1954, at Immanual Lutheran Church in Giddings.

Edward was united in marriage to Christine Ullrich on April 29, 1961 at Eben-Ezer Lutheran Church in Berlin. They were blessed with their son, Timothy in 1966. Edward worked in the machine lathe industry as an operator in both Houston and Waller until the early 1990s. At that time, he and Christine left Bellville and retired to their ranch in the Greens Creek Community. They truly loved their ranching lifestyle. Edward enjoyed all things of the ranch and their rural lifestyle, not only taking care of his cattle, gardening, baling hay and helping his neighbors, but also enjoying fishing and hunting. He particularly loved his church community at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda, he was very involved and helped in numerous roles, including working on the chicken crew for the church picnic.

Edward passed the morning on Friday, Sept. 5, 2025, in Cypress and was welcomed into the Lord’s arms.

He is survived by his son, Timothy Buscha and his wife Elizabeth of Cypress; two grandsons, Zachary Buscha and Cortland Hughes; two great granddaughters, Emilia and Elara Buscha; his sister, Carol and husband Mike Scallan; two nephews, Jason and Michael Scallan and extended family members.

Edward was preceded in death by his loving wife Christine, his parents and granddaughter Lauren Buscha.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations in memory of Edward and Christine Buscha be made to the Ledbetter Volunteer Fire Department at P.O. Box 213, Ledbetter, Tx 78946.
