Crockett “David” Leyendecker Jr., 66, of Columbus stepped through Heaven’s gates on Dec. 30, 2020. He was born June 12, 1954, the oldest of three kids to Doris Kallus Leyendecker and Crockett David Leyendecker Sr. in Columbus. Growing up on the family farm/ ranch, he spent many hours on a tractor, which inspired his love of hard work, exploring the outdoors, and his animals. He had the benefit of growing up just down the hill from his maternal grandparents who were a big part of his life.

Glenn Howard Fox, age 86, of Round Top passed away on Dec. 20, 2020.

Coach David Husmann of Schulenburg went to be with The Lord on Friday, Dec. 18, 2020 in Austin at the age of 67. He is predeceased by his parents, Ed and Donna Husmann. He is survived by his adoring wife of 47 years, Karen Howard Husmann. He is lovingly remembered by his three daughters, Angela Ebrey and James of The Woodlands, Kristin Fisher and Brandon of Orange and Bonnie Seydler and Alex of Weimar. Coach leaves behind ten grandchildren, Madeline Kate Ebrey, Lily Grace Ebrey a Hall ie Wren Ebrey, Carly Grace Fisher, Zachary Brandon Fisher, Elise Faith Fisher, Abigail Joy Fisher, Seth Adrian Seydler, Simon David Seydler and Savannah Leigh Seydler. He is also survived by his brother, Gregory Kurt Husmann and wife Sandra of Round Rock.

Sister Josephine Kallus, OSB, 97, of Lisle, Ill., died peacefully early Sunday morning, Dec.20, 2020 at St. Patrick’s Residence Nursing and Rehabilitation in Naperville, Ill.

Dominic “Don” Alvin Psencik, 81, born on May 12, 1939, to Joe and Bessie Psencik in La Grange, died on Dec. 22, 2020, in Houston due to complications resulting from the COVID virus.

Elizabeth Ann (McKennon) Schneider, 96, of La Grange, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020.

Funeral services for Howard J. Muniz, 70 of Giddings, are scheduled for 10 a.m.
