Students Take a Trip to EMS Headquarters

Mrs. Fritz and Mrs. Landis from La Grange ISD brought a group of eighth graders to the Fayette County EMS Headquarters on March 9 to thank the crews for the lifesaving work that they do. They also provided the medics with some sweet treats and a thank you card. “We encouraged them to think about careers in public safety, let them play with lights and sirens and let them check out the back of an ambulance,” said EMS Director Josh Vandever. “It brought our team a lot of joy to see these great kids today. Don’t always believe what you see on TV, our future looks pretty bright from where we are sitting.”
