All Aboard For Easter

The most people in decades boarded a train at the La Grange Depot on Saturday. A shiny “Texas Special” loaded up passengers for a “kiddie park” style train ride around the parking lot. “Engineer” Gary Lincke drives the train as “Gate Agent” Andrew Baker (at left in yellow shirt) makes sure everyone’s hands are safely inside the cars. Saturday’s event was part of the 125th anniversary celebration in 2022 for the Historic Katy Depot.
