CVICA BBQ Chicken Fundraiser The Colorado Valley Independent Cattlemen’s Association (CVICA) fundraiser is being held on Wednesday, May 5 at the La Grange KC Hall located at 190 S. Brown St.

NVCC to Hear From Emergency Management

As NVCC looks forward, members are looking ahead to listening and learning what is going on in Fayette County. Craig Moreau, Fayette County Chief of Emergency Management and Homeland Security, will visit on Monday, April 25. He will fill members in on everything COVID and the latest news of boosters for elders. Memebers really want the news in a manner they can understand to make the best decision for themselves. NVCC has invited Craig to come in and join members for a lasagna lunch and inform them of the latest news.

PAT Holds Easter Party at Weimar Elementary

The Schulenburg/Weimar Area Parents as Teachers (PAT) held their annual Easter Party at the Weimar Elementary School on April 7 with 145 parents, children and volunteers participating in the event. Families and children could participate in 10 activities.

Spring Cleanup The City of La Grange will have the annual Spring Cleanup week April 19-23 during which one free load of brush will be picked up and roll off containers will be available to residential utility customers at the City Service Center.
