The feral hog population causes extensive economic losses to Fayette County Agriculture producers through crop destruction, pasture and livestock losses, and environmental damage. With this in mind, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of Fayette County and Fayette Farm Bureau in cooperation with the Fayette County Commissioner’s Court will be hosting a feral hog trapping program on Friday, July 8, at the Fayette County Agricultural Building located at 255 Svoboda Ln. in La Grange. This program discussion is on the Pig Brig traps that were purchased by Fayette County through donations from Fayette County Farm Bureau.
