The Linda Smalley Concert Series is bringing a performer with larger-than-life talent to town that you don’t want to miss. Problem is, you may not yet know her name. Bigger problem, you might not know her genre. So, you ask, why take a chance and go see her if you don’t know who she is or even what kind of music she’ll be doing? Why take the risk?
Lilli Lewis will be at the Bugle Boy Saturday Nov. 5 and First Presbyterian Church in La Grange Nov. 6.

Blinn College Seeks to Move Sealy Campus

Board of Trustees authorizes Blinn to develop partnership with Sealy ISD that would relocate Sealy Campus programs. Blinn is exploring moving its Sealy Campus operations from Outlet Mall Drive to a Sealy ISD facility The Blinn College District Board of Trustees authorized the College to develop a partnership with Sealy ISD that would allow Blinn to offer in-person courses at Sealy ISD facilities. With this agreement, Blinn plans to continue to provide all its current Sealy Campus programs and activities at Sealy ISD facilities.

Kimball Earns National Health Care Executive Recertification

Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter Update

As of Oct. 21, total intake for the Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter is 1,198: 543 dogs and 655 cats in need. The shelter has 120 animals in care: 69 dogs and 51 cats. This number includes animals in the facility, in foster care for medical, waiting on available space, or awaiting transport to rescue partner.
