Cattlemen Serve Hamburgers at County Junior Livestock Show

The Colorado Valley Independent Cattlemen’s Association (CVICA) prepared hamburgers for the FCJLS on March 25, at the La Grange Fairgrounds. Ron Denham coordinated the event with the FCJLS. The following pictured members prepared and served the hamburgers with condiments.
Finally, the rush is over and several ICA members are taking a break after a great turnout. Pictured from left in the white shirt is Bill Sickon, Landry Bertsch with his wife, Melanie, standing behind him. Next resting in the chair is Horace Drisdale, next to him is David Karisch and finally on the right is Steve Janda.

KCs: Keeping MS 150 Cyclists Fed for 39 Years

Dating back to the very first MS 150 bikeathon in La Grange 39 years ago, the Knights of Columbus here have been a key part of helping the benefit bike ride succeed. (That first year the cyclists even slept in the KC Hall and the KCs made them soup and sandwiches).
