St. Mark’s Advanced Outpatient Wound Center Wins Award

St. Mark’s Medical Center is pleased to announce that their Advanced Outpatient Wound Center is a recipient of RestorixHealth’s Clinical Distinction Award for the period ending December 2022. The biannual achievement acknowledges exceptional success in wound healing rates and safety goals.

Bluebonnet Master Gardeners Annual Plant Sale Rescheduled

Due to the inclement weather on Saturday, April 8 the Bluebonnet Master Gardener Association has decided to postpone the Plant Sale. The Plant Sale has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 22 at Levine Park Pavilion located at 406 Main St. Sealy. The Plant Sale hours are 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. or until sold out.

Senior Connections Hires Director of Development

The Board of Directors and the staff at Senior Connections have arrived at a crucial decision. With the 2023 Strategic Plan in place now, we prioritized the needs of the organization and have hired a Director of Development. Amanda Kridel is an extremely versatile Marketing and Development professional. There will be a more formal announcement coming as Senior Connections launches new name of our organization, officially, and present Amanda to community by working with the Chamber of Commerce team.

Feed The Need

Feed the Need, a non-profit organization whose mission is to feed people physically and spiritually, will provide free burgers every Monday at 6:30 p.m. in La Grange at the south east corner of the courthouse square. Everyone is welcome.

AMEN Pantry Has Money, But Running Out of Food

La Grange’s AMEN Food Pantry continues to serve large numbers. But according AMEN treasurer Garry Schellberg, the pantry has ample funds to purchase products from the Food Bank however, currently the Central Texas Food Bank does not have product to serve the needs of our pantry and all pantries across Central Texas.
