La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of June 25 through July 1.

Animal Complaint

On June 26, Officer Curtis Zwahr responded to the 2100 block of N. Jefferson for loose dogs. Officer was unable to locate.

On June 27, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 800 block of Jefferson in regard to an animal complaint.

On June 29, Officer Brett Meinardus received a call concerning a dog in the 500 block of E. Guadalupe. Officer checked on the dog and it had food, water and shelter.

On June. 30, Officer Jeffery Archerd was dispatched to the 100 block of W. Colorado in regard to an animal alone in a vehicle.

On July 1, Maxwell was dispatched to the 2400 block of N. Jefferson in regard to an animal complaint.

Accident

On June 26, Archerd was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Walnut in regard to a twovehicle accident. On June 28, Archerd was dispatched to the 800 block of E. Travis in regard to a twovehicle accident. On June 28, Zwahr responded to a one vehicle accident at 2145 and Highway 77. The vehicle hit a deer. No injuries.

On June 29, Sgt. Travis Anderson received a call in regard to a two vehicle accident involving a motorcycle at W. State Hwy. 71 Business and Country Club Drive.

On June 30, Zwahr responded to a two-vehicle minor accident at FM 609 and State Highway 71 business.

Agency Assist

On June 30, Officer John Wostarek assisted DPS in the 1800 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business.

Civil Matter

On June 29, Anderson spoke with a complainant in the 500 block of W. Lowerline in regard to a civil mater.

On June 30, Archerd spoke with a caller in regard to civil matter in the 300 block of E. Vine.

Disturbance

On June 28, Zwahr responded to the 800 block of S. Jefferson in regard to a disturbance. Parties were already separated upon arrival.

On June 28, Archerd was dispatched to the 700 block of E. Pecan in regard to a disturbance.

On June 30, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 1400 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business in regard to a family disturbance.

On June 30, Archerd was dispatched to the 300 block of E. Travis in regard to a disturbance. Juvenile Complaint

On June 25, Sgt. Travis Anderson received a call in regard to a juvenile complaint in the 700 block of E. Milam.

On July 1, Haynie was dispatched to the 800 block of E. Upperline in regard to a juvenile complaint.

Public Intoxication

On June 25, Officer Kevin Currington was dispatched to the 100 block of E. Travis for a subject laying down behind a van.

Reckless Driving

On June 28, Meinardus responded to the 400 block of N. Monroe for a truck driving recklessly through the area and littering. Complainant advised it is an ongoing issue.

On June 30, Maxwell spoke with a caller in regard to reckless driving in the 1000 block of E. Hwy. 71 feeder.

Sexual Assault

On June 27, Investigator Troy Stevens took a sexual assault report from complainant.

On June 30, Maxwell was dispatched to the 800 block of N. Horton in regard to a sexual assault.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle On June 25, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 200 block of N. Jackson and E. Lafayette in response to a suspicious person.

On June 26, Meinardus took a report from complainant in the 900 block of N. Jefferson about subjects taking his property.

On June 26, Zwahr searched the area in the 600 block of W. Travis for a suspicious person. Officer unable to locate.

On June 27, Maxwell was dispatched to the 800 block of E. Lafayette in regard to a suspicious person.

On June 27, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Travis in regard to a suspicious person.

On June 29, Currington was dispatched to the 1900 block of State Hwy. 71 business for a suspicious subject panhandling.

Theft

On June 26, Archerd was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Travis in regard to a theft.

On June 26, Wostarek spoke with a caller in the 200 block of S. Ellinger in regard to a bicycle theft.

Family Bodily Injury

On June 25, Meinardus responded to the 500 block of W. Lowerline where caller reported that his girlfriend had pushed him while getting items from their home.

Trespassing

On June 27, Zwahr responded to the 400 block of E. Travis in regard to trespassing.

On July 1, Maxwell was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington in regard to a subject refusing to leave.

Traffic Hazard

On June 30, Wostarek was dispatched to the 100 block of N. Main in regard to a traffic hazard.

On July 1, Maxwell was dispatched to the 400 block of N. Jefferson in regard to a traffic hazard.

Unlawful Carrying a Weapon

On June 26, Maxwell conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of S. Jefferson. A probable cause search was conducted, and subject was cited and released.

Welfare Check

On June 27, Maxwell was dispatched the 100 block of E. Travis in regard to a welfare check.

On June 28, Currington was dispatched to the 600 block of N. Horton for a welfare check.

On June 28, Archerd was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington in regard to a welfare check.

On June 29, Currington was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Eckels for a child custody issue.

Miscellaneous

On June 25, Currington responded to the 600 block of E. Pecan for a reported unauthorized use that turned out to be unfounded.

On June 26, Archerd was dispatched to the 300 block of N. Jefferson in regard to counterfeit money.

On June 26, Maxwell spoke to a subject in regard to identity theft in the 1100 block of E. Guadalupe.

On June 26, Haynie was dispatched to the 900 block of E. Pearl in regard to loud noises.

On June 27, Archerd was dispatched to the 200 block of E. Travis in regard to counterfeit money.

On June 27, Archerd was dispatched to the 500 block of N Jefferson in regard to a citizen assist.

On June 29, Zwahr checked on a motorist on the side of the road in the 1300 block of Hwy.. 159. Everything was fine and they continued driving.

On July 1, Haynie was dispatched to the 200 block of Hope Avenue in regard to loud music.
