Kay Marburger was celebrated this week at the regular Colorado Valley Quilt Guild Meeting. Kay has stepped down as the CVQG/TQM Liaison and Volunteer Coordinator (in charge of the Museum’s docent schedule), a position she’s held since the Museum first opened its doors in 2011.
Colorado Valley Telephone Cooperative (CVTC) will hold its Annual Membership Meeting on Thursday, May 11, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in La Grange. Among the business items on the agenda, members will select four directors for the CVTC Board.

The Texas Newspaper Foundation announced the selection of three exemplary journalists — Dave Campbell (deceased), Suzanne Bardwell (deceased), and Larry C. Jackson (retired)— into the Texas Newspaper Foundation Hall of Fame for the year 2023.
