Gonzalez Resigning Council Seat

La Grange Ward 4 Councilman Quenten Gonzalez told the Record that he plans to resign from the Council at the May 22 meeting. Gonzalez said he and his family are moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Landon Koehne, 16, of Schulenburg died in a onevehicle accident Friday on private land in Lavaca County after a one-vehicle roll-over. He was a junior at Hallettsville High School and the son of La Grange Police Officer Justin Koehne.

The Fayette County Commissioners Court held a twohour workshop last Thursday, May 4, to update the County’s Subdivision Regulations. These rules stipulate how landowners may divide their property for sale or development, whether or not they require a plat, and how developers must build roads if they are to become county roads.
