La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Aug. 13-19.

Accident

On Aug. 16, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 1000 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business for an accident with powerline down and multiple vehicles with no injuries.

On Aug. 18, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 900 block of N. Jefferson in regard to an accident.

On Aug. 18, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 400 block of N. Main for an accident.

Animal Complaint

On Aug. 13-Animal Control Officer Dean Ahlschlager checked on a dog in the 200 block of S. Monroe. Dog had food and water and officer put dog in the house.

On Aug. 14, Keeney responded to the 200 block of S. Monroe for an animal complaint.

On Aug. 16, Animal Control Officer Justin Pietsch helped put a dog back in the yard in the 600 block of S. Jefferson.

On Aug. 18, Officer Kevin Currington was dispatched the 200 block of Svoboda Lane for a loose pony.

Citizen Assist

On Aug. 19, Sgt. Travis Anderson responded to One St. Mark’s Place for an emergency detention order (EDO), upon arrival officer was advised the order was meant for Lee County so the call was cleared.

Criminal Mischief

On Aug. 19, Anderson received a call-in regard to criminal mischief in the 900 block of E. Colorado.

Disturbance

On Aug. 13, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 2300 block of W. Hwy. 71 business in regard to a disturbance. One subject was arrested and transported to jail.

On Aug. 18, Currington was dispatched to the 200 block of Northpointe for a disturbance, subject had already left.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle

On Aug. 14, Keeney checked the 200 block of W. Fairground Road for a suspicious vehicle.

On Aug. 14, Currington was dispatched to the 2100 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business for a suspicious subject.

On Aug. 15, Keeney responded to the 1000 block of E. Travis for a suspicious person.

On Aug. 15, Keeney responded to the 1900 block of Hwy. 159 for a suspicious person.

On Aug. 16, Keeney investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business.

On Aug. 18, Currington responded to the 1800 block of W. Hwy 71 business for a suspicious person. On Aug. 18, Currington was dispatched to the 200 block of S. Ellinger for suspicious circumstances.

On Aug. 18, Anderson received a call regarding a suspicious vehicle in the 700 block of N. Eckel.

On Aug. 18, Anderson received a call regarding a suspicious person in the 100 block of E. Milam.

On Aug. 19, Currington was dispatched to the 1700 block of State Hwy. 71 bypass for a suspicious person.

Theft

On Aug. 15, Currington was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Travis for an attempted theft. On Aug. 16, Keeney responded to the 500 block of Lower Line in response to theft.

Trespassing

On Aug. 13, Maxwell was dispatched to the 900 block of E. Lafayette in regard to a subject trespassing.

On Aug. 16, Maxwell was dispatched to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business in regard to subject trespassing.

Terroristic Threat

On Aug. 18, Office Jeffrey Archerd spoke with a caller in regard to a threat in the 800 block of S. Vail. Officer found there to be no threat.

Warrant Arrest

On Aug. 17, Wostarek arrested a subject in the 200 block of N. Main on an outstanding warrant.

On Aug. 18, Currington executed a felony warrant on a wanted subject in the 500 block of E. Travis.

Welfare Check

On Aug. 15, Currington was dispatched to the 500 block of Koenig Lane for a welfare check.

On Aug. 19, Currington was dispatched to the 400 block of N. Monroe for a welfare check.

Miscellaneous

On Aug. 13, Meinardus took a report from complainant in regard to harassing texts and calls.

On Aug. 13, Maxwell spoke with a caller in regard to a narcotics complaint in the 200 block of S. Reynolds.

On Aug. 15, Anderson received a call-in regard to a parking complaint in the 400 block of E. Lowerline.

On Aug. 15, Archerd spoke with a caller in the 900 block of N. Franklin in regard to phone scams. Officer advised complainant to block the numbers or do not answer unknown calls.

On Aug. 16, Archerd was dispatched to the 100 block of W. Colorado in regard to an abandoned vehicle on private property. Officer informed the complainant they would have to call a tow company and have the abandoned vehicle removed.

On Aug. 16, Archerd was dispatched to the 900 block of N. Franklin in regard to 911 hang up. Officer spoke with the caller who informed officer child accidently dialed 911.

On Aug. 17, Maxwell was dispatched to the 1000 block of N. Madison in regard to a narcotics complaint.
