Raphael’s Refuge 25th Anniversary
Raphael’s Refuge, home of the Monument to the Innocents, is celebrating its 25th Anniversary. Pictured are two of the founding members, Mildred (Midge) Elam and Rex Moses. Midge, having recently stepped down from her position on the board, is still available to show visitors around the premises and share more about the ministry. Raphael’s Refuge is a place of healing, a place to honor babies who have died, from conception to 12 months. Peer counseling is available for those who have suffered the loss of a baby. The Refuge is located in Fayette County, about two miles west of Flatonia, along Hwy. 90. For more information, call/text (361) 258-1514, e-mail raphaelsrefuge@att.net, or visit rapahelsrefuge.org.
