To the editor: Fellow citizens of La Grange, On January 27, the La Grange City Council had their first meeting of the new year…finally. Two weeks prior, I went to sign up for speaking at city hall and was informed that there was no meeting.

The La Grange school board held their monthly meeting Monday. Here are some of the highlights: Administrative Reports Superintendent Andy McHazlett reported that the current enrollment is 1,853.

The La Grange City Council selected the firm Freese and Nichols to conduct a parks, open spaces and trails master plan. The plan will identify and prioritize parks and trails amenities for future development.
