Jaxyn Faldyn, Tomball’s quarterback, showed off his dual- threat capabilities during the Cougars’ 56-42 win over Waller in the bi-district round. The senior signal-caller completed 11-of-15 passes for 192 yards and four touchdowns. He also rushed for 80 yards and another score on nine carries. Faldyn has accounted for 31 total touchdowns this season, including 27 passing with just one interception. Weimar City Council accepted the resignation of City Manager Donald Dixson at an emergency meeting on Monday, Nov. 17. Weimar Mayor Carlton Tucker said the City recently learned that Dixson has pending criminal charges from 1994 out of Pennsylvania for “indecent assault” and “corruption of minors.”
