Spring Feral Hog Control Contest Begins Jan. 6

The county-wide feral hog contest is being held to give landowners, producers, and sportsmen an opportunity to control feral hogs in Fayette County. The feral hog population causes economic losses to Fayette County Agriculture producers through crop destruction, pasture and livestock losses, and environmental damage.

Fayette County Spring Coyote Control Contest Announced

The Fayette County Spring Coyote Control Program begins on Jan. 6 and ends April 30. The contest is being held to give landowners, producers, and sportsmen an opportunity to assist in the control of coyotes in Fayette County. Coyotes cause predation on livestock and result in economic losses to agricultural producers in the county.

Lafayette Masonic Lodge Reflects on a Busy and Successful 2025

Lafayette Masonic Lodge has had a fantastic 2025. Most residents of Fayette County know the Lodge building which stands at the top of the hill on 77 as you head south into town, but few know the quiet work the members have done since 1847. As one of the oldest organizations in Fayette County 2025 saw a continuation of the renaissance we have been enjoying over the last several years.
