Members of the La Grange High School Senior class released balloons at the conclusion of Wednesday night’s community pep rally – an annual tradition. Most of the balloons were purple or white, but there was one large gold balloon, far left, shaped in the letter ‘K’ released by the family of the Kyla Drozd, who was a member of this class of students but passed away earlier this year. As part of Wednesday’s event, the homecoming beau and sweetheart nominees were announced. The winners will be announced before Friday’s football game.
