LGPD Respond to Disturbances, Theft Reports
La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Aug. 23-30.
Animal Complaint
On Aug. 24, Animal Control Officer Leslie Yezakl was dispatched to the 300 block of N. Jackson for dog welfare.
On Aug. 24, Yezakl responded to the 100 block of E. Colorado city hall for a kitten in the window.
On Aug. 24, Yezakl responded to the 1000 block of Greenspointe Avenue for a dog welfare check.
On Aug. 28, Officer Adrian Ortiz was dispatched to the 500 block of E. Colorado for an animal complaint.
On Aug. 29, Ortiz was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Travis for an animal complaint. Civil Matter
On Aug. 24, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 1900 block of Hwy. 159 for a civil matter.
On Aug. 28, Sgt. Mitchell Maxwell responded to the 1900 block of Hwy. 159 regarding damage to a gas pump.
Criminal Mischief
On Aug. 23, Officer Jose Garza was dispatched to the 400 block of W. Colorado for criminal mischief.
On Aug. 27, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 400 block of W. Colorado where a truck was vandalized.
Disturbance
On Aug. 23, Garza responded to the 600 block of E. State Hwy. 71 bypass for a disturbance.
On Aug. 24, Haynie was dispatched to the 500 block of S. Cindy Lane for a verbal disturbance.
On Aug. 25, Haynie was dispatched to the 200 block of Esperanza for a family disturbance, verbal argument.
On Aug. 27, Meinardus was dispatched to the 400 block of W. Colorado where caller reported an argument after officer left the location. No violence occurred but items were damaged in the household. Subject had left the location.
On Aug. 26, Meinardus responded to the 1000 block of E. Travis for a verbal dispute with a subject due to towing his vehicle from accident scene.
On Aug. 28, Ortiz was dispatched to the 2200 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business for a disturbance.
Harassment
On Aug. 24, Haynie was dispatched to the 900 block of Mode Lane regarding harassment.
On Aug. 29, Haynie was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Monroe regarding harassment.
Loud Music
On Aug. 28, Maxwell was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Horton for noises outside complainant’s home.
Soliciting Without Permit On Aug. 26, Garza responded to the 100 block of N. Main in reference to a solicitor without a permit.
Suspicious Person
On Aug. 4, Ortiz was dispatched to the 600 block of S. Jefferson for a suspicious person.
On Aug. 25, Haynie was dispatched to the 200 block of S. Franklin for a suspicious person.
Terroristic Threat
On Aug. 24, Haynie spoke with a subject regarding a terroristic threat in the 800 block of S. Reynolds.
On Aug. 29, Maxwell was flagged down about a suspicious person in the 200 block of N. Washington.
Trespassing
On Aug. 23, Garza responded to the 1000 block of Greenspointe Avenue in reference to a criminal trespass warning.
Theft
On Aug. 26, Maxwell responded to the 2000 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business regarding a possible theft.
On Aug. 29, Ortiz was dispatched to the 1700 block of E. State hwy. 71 bypass regarding theft.
Traffic Hazard
On Aug. 28, Maxwell was dispatched to the 300 block of N. Madison for a traffic hazard.
