We’ve Already Surpassed Last Year’s Rainfall

Another powerful storm rolled through Fayette County Saturday night, dumping another inch-and-a-half of rainfall (according to LCRA hydromet) on an already soaked La Grange. Several low-lying areas and roadways were again flooded.

That officially puts us over the 30-inch mark for rainfall this year!

To put that in perspective, we only had 27 inches of rain the entire year of 2020.
