Weimar Lions Club Donates To PAT

The Weimar Lions Club believes in community. The Lions also contribute to area non-profits that are trying to make a difference in the community. One of those organizations is the Schulenburg/Weimar Area Parents as Teachers (PAT) which received $500 on Sept. 21. Pictured are PAT educators Karen Hoskins and Zulma Hay and Kurt Scardino, Lions Club President. The PAT program is in its 20th year in the community and partners with parents from prenatal to kindergarten, the early critical years that set the foundation for school readiness.
