Wagners Welcome Baby Boy April 12
Phillip and Mayra Wagner welcomed the birth of their son, Aaron Domingo Wagner, on Monday, April 12. Excited to welcome Aaron home are his big brothers, Sebastian and Benjamin, along with his grandparents, Richard and Courtney Wagner, and great-grandparents, Willie and Judy Wagner.
Bake Sale
The Ladies Aid of Holy Cross will be having a bake sale along with the BBQ chicken pick-up on Mother’s Day May 9. It will be held at the picnic grounds. Come out and pick up some wonderful baked goods.
Holy Cross Couples Club
The Holy Cross Couples Club will be having their annual BBQ on Mother’s Day May 9 at the Holy Cross Picnic Grounds. Whole chickens are $9 and sauce is $2. Pick-up will be from 10:30-noon. You may place your order by calling the church office at (979) 242-3333. There is also a signup sheet on the bulletin in the narthex of the church. Advance orders only. Deadline to order is Monday May 3.
Holy Cross Cookbook
Mother’s Day is coming up and if you are looking for a great gift for the mother and grandmothers in your life you may want to consider giving them a cookbook put together by the ladies at Holy Cross Lutheran Church. The cookbook includes lots of great recipes submitted by members of the congregation as well as some favorites that were included from the old cookbook many years ago. Cost of each cookbook is $15. Contact any Ladies Aid member or Lisa Gay at (979) 218-6000 to get your cookbooks.
Faith Lutheran Summer Camp
Faith Lutheran High School will offer youth summer camps this summer. Ages are for grades next school year. Classes offered are:
May 3-5 Archery (Grades 5-8) $15
June 7-9 Volleyball (Grades 3-8) $15
June 14-16 Basketball (Grades K-8) $15
June 21-23 Art Camp (Grades K-6) $30
June 28-30 STEM Camp (Grades K-6) $30

Faith Lutheran High School
FLHS will be hosting a game night fort 7 and 8 grade students on Friday, April 30 from 6-9 p.m. There will be lots of food, fun and fellowship. Parents must call FLHS to reserve their child’s spot.
FLHS has eight new students already enrolled. If you are interested in enrollment contact the school at 979-242-2889 and schedule a visit. There is a scholarship program available.
Everyone is welcome to join Chapel Worship service every Wednesday beginning at 10:30 a.m.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is scheduled for June 28-30 each evening. Registration information will be coming soon.
Bible Study
A new Bible study has begun meeting each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. This is an elevenweek course, covering the first eighteen chapters of the book of Exodus. Everyone is welcome to join as we walk along with the Israelites on their journey from Egypt to the Promised Land. Holy Cross Services
Services at Holy Cross Lutheran are Sunday at 9 a.m. Bible class and Sunday school follows the morning service.
Confirmation Reunion Sunday will be held at Holy Cross on Sunday May 2.
