Villanueva Dies in Guadalupe County Wreck

The Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office responded Tuesday afternoon to a major vehicle collision in the 4100 block of Highway 46, near the intersection of Elm Grove.

At approximately 4:30 p.m., a 2014 orange Dodge Charger left the roadway, rolled over, and came to rest in the backyard of a nearby residence.

The driver, a 30‑year‑old male, later identified as Xavier Villanueva, who has several family members in this area, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
