Victor Weishuhn Running for JP in Pct. 2
After careful deliberation I, Victor Weishuhn, have decided to run to be your Justice of the Peace in Precinct 2. I would like to take a moment to introduce myself.
I was born and raised in the Round Top area, close to Waldeck, where I graduated from Round Top-Carmine High School in 2007. I went on to continue my education at Blinn College then Sam Houston State University where I acquired my bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Business with a Minor in Marketing.
Some of the experiences I have had after college have been working in outside sales, as a teacher, and most recently as a meat inspector for the Department of State Health Service for the last five years. These different professional experiences have helped shape the man I have become in different ways. I have become decisive and dedi-cated to the task at hand through my professional experiences by learning from a diverse group of individuals. I have also learned how to communicate and work with the public. My current position has also molded me to be more proficient with the understanding of laws and regulations which relates to a position such as this.
I am a member of the Round Top-Carmine Young Farmers Chapter, North Central Fayette County Wildlife Association, Independent Cattlemen’s Association, and a volunteer for the Fayette County Commercial Heifer Show.
I love living in Fayette County, which I have called home my whole life. My father, Gary, worked in road and bridge and then served as a commissioner for many years. My mother, Lucila, is a retired librarian for Round Top-Carmine Elementary. My sister Andrea and my brother-in-law Caleb, both work for Round Top-Carmine High School. My family has deep roots in the community that matters most to me. This is a new and exciting experience that I very much look forward to seeing through. It would be a great honor to represent Precinct 2 as your Justice of the Peace, and I would work hard to meet the expectations of the community.
