Vaccines for Teachers

Fayette County Judge Joe Weber announced last Friday that the County obtained 100 coronavirus vaccine doses that will be dedicated to certain atrisk teachers in the County.

Weber said the doses will go to teachers with pre-existing medical conditions that make them more at-risk to the coronavirus. Teachers who are over 65 years of age may also be eligible to receive a dose.

Weber said the County is coordinating with all of the schools in the County to identify eligible teachers and administer the doses. – Andy Behlen
