Two Top City Employees Resign

recently. Curtis Bradbury, who was hired earlier this year as the city’s Recreation Director, has returned to Lutherhill Ministries (where he had previously worked for 14 years). He is returning to Lutherhill as the new Director of Guest Services for the camp’s La Grange and Galveston locations.

Meanwhile longtime La Grange City Secretary Janet Bayer resigned last week.

Bayer has been with the city for nine years.

“Both were surprises,” said La Grange City Manager Jack Thompson, adding his thanks to both for their service to the city.

Thompson said that as word has gotten around about the resignations that “we’ve already gotten calls inquiring about both positions.”
