Turtle Wing Foundation Offering Scholarships
Turtle Wing Foundation is now accepting applications for academic scholarships from high school seniors residing in Fayette, Lavaca, or Colorado counties, or attending High school in these counties. There are three $1,000 scholarship opportunities available:
Jack Hooper Memorial Scholarship – this will be awarded to a student who has exhibited the qualities of Acceptance, Kindness, Inclusion, and Service. This might be through volunteerism, work, or life experiences.
Grow Wings Scholarship this applicant must be actively participating in Special Education or following a 504 Plan.
Give Wings Scholarship this applicant must be pursuing an education that will lead them to working with children with learning challenges in some way.

The mission of Turtle Wing Foundation is helping individuals with learning challenges in rural areas achieve their full potential by providing access to a shared network of emotional, educational, and therapeutic resources.

Turtle Wing has been providing Early Intervention, Supplemental Services and Community Education and Advocacy programming to individuals and families with academic, social-emotional, behavioral and/or developmental needs since 2011. Last year over 300 individuals received direct services with thousands more benefiting indirectly through education and advocacy work.
