A Stirring Salute to Service on Veterans Day

La Grange Elementary School held a touching Veterans Day Program split into two parts. Kindergarten-2nd graders performed at 1:30 p.m. and 3rd-6th graders performed at 2:30 p.m. At the conclusion of the second performance more than 400 students piled into the front of the stage for a powerful conclusion (above). In addition to a packed house of parents and grandparents, several veterans from the community were on hand, in reserved spots on the front rows, for the performance. Photo by Jeff Wick
