St. Mark’s Named In US Top 100 Rural And Community Hospitals

St. Mark’s Medical Center (SMMC) was named one of the top 100 Rural and Community Hospitals in the United States by the Chards Center for Rural Health.

The designation is annually announced by the Chards Center for Rural Health, a division of the Chards Group, the nation’s largest independent healthcare advisory firm. Scoring is based on the Hospital Strength Index, which assesses performance in eight areas: inpatient market share, outpatient market share, quality, outcomes, patient perspective, cost, charge and financial efficiency.
