St. Joseph’s Church Picnic In Moulton Is Easter Sunday

St. Joseph’s Church is continuing the age-old tradition of the Moulton Easter Picnic. The picnic is scheduled for Easter Sunday, April 4. This has been a tradition for many years in Moulton. Father Gabriel and parishioners invite you to come join at St. Joseph’s Social Center on the church grounds.

The celebration begins with Mass at 10 a.m. at the church followed by blessing of the Easter baskets and an Easter egg hunt.

Beginning at 10:30 a.m. the famous Moulton fried chicken dinner with all the trimmings will be served, $10 a plate. You may dine inside, drive thru plates to go and meats to go will also be available.

Activities inside the Social Center will include a cakewalk. There will be a live auction beginning at 1 p.m. featuring quilts, wood crafted and metal crafted items, plants, antiques, and more. Ken Brothers will provide the music from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. and Blue Denim from 3:30 until 7:30 p.m.

Other outdoor fun will include a Country Store, a plant walk, ball throw, and other games. Plenty of refreshments, snow cones, popcorn, and hamburgers will be on hand all afternoon.
