St. John Hosting SLM Joint Worship Service this Sunday

There will be a joint worship service at St. John’s Warrenton at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 2. There will not be any services at the three other churches.

There will be a birthday party for Pastor Willie Rotter on Sunday, Nov. 30 from 3-5 p.m. at the Parkview Manor Nursing Home in Weimar. He will be turning 90.

Worship services are still offered on Facebook, You Tube and KTIM 89.1 on Sundays at noon. Ellinger has worship every Sunday at 8 a.m. with communion.

St. Mary’s Catholic Church 

St. Mary’s Catholic Church mass is every Saturday at 4 p.m. and Sunday at 8 a.m.

Brethren Church 

Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Other services are at Industry Brethren on the second, third and fourth Saturdays at 5 p.m., Wesley Brethren on Sundays at 9 a.m. and Nelsonville Brethren on Sundays at 10:15 a.m. Rev. Mike Groseclose leads all the services. The Nelsonville service is live streamed on Nelsonville Brethren’s Facebook page.

Hermann Sons Life 

Any lodge wanting to have a representative from the home office attend its Christmas pastry, should contact the Member Benefits Department by calling (210) 226-9261 extension. 238. The deadline is Friday, Oct. 31.

Daylight savings time end this weekend. Set your clocks back one hour when you go to bed Saturday night.
