Splash, Down: LG Pool Demo Begins

Demolition of the historic public swimming pool at Krueschel Park began last week. The La Grange City Council voted back in June to demolish the old pool, which was built in the mid 1950s. The pool needed major repairs and upgrades that the city deemed too expensive. However, the City has also embarked on a parks master plan with discussion about a possible aquatic center. The city hired Joe Rogers Dozer Service to demolish the old pool facilities. They began work last Friday.
