Special Christmas Card Contest Held
Recently the residents of Gray Legacy Services (formerly Kenmar) painted Christmas cards that the organization is going to use for their company Christmas cards, but the cards are also going to be printed and sold locally (more info to come at a later date about that) as a fundraiser. Shown above are the winners – left to right, Jonathan B., Jimmy G., Caroline M., Anthony G. (and not shown Lynda V.) The contest judges are shown below (from left) Myra Simmons and Anissa Menefee from the Fayette County Fair Art Department, and Bianca Broman of Arts for Rural Texas. They are holding the finalists. Behind is a mural that Bianca and the GLS Residents recently created together. The mural is in the Dayhab in Plum.
