Sheriff Korenek Reports October Activities, Arrests
Sheriff Keith Korenek reports activities of Fayette County Sheriff Deputies for the month of October 2025.
Deputy Ty Roggenkamp made two warrant arrests. Deputy Roggenkamp also responded to Country Club Drive in reference to a male blocking a female who was trying to leave with a vehicle. The male was arrested for unlawful restraint and possession of marijuana.
Deputy Mark Pritchard responded to a structure fire on FM 389, a report was completed. Deputy Pritchard also assisted Texas DPS with a vehicle pursuit.
Deputy Jose Mosqueda responded to a shots fired call on Abbotts Grove School Road, no one was located in the area. Deputy Mosqueda also responded to a RV on fire near Schulenburg, a report was completed.
Deputy Noah Geer responded to a theft in the 3100 block of SH 159, the case is active. Deputy Geer also responded to a two vehicle accident on Interstate 10.
Deputy Jason Fowler responded to Hatterman Road in reference to property damage, a report was completed. Deputy Fowler responded to Highway 71 in reference to power lines across the roadway, the roadway was cleared.
Deputy Joe Gonzales responded to State Highway 71 in reference to a rolling disturbance. A female subject was arrested for Assault Family Violence. Deputy Gonzales also responded to Anton Salas Loop in reference to a hospice inquest.
Sergeant Duane Meagher responded to the Flatonia RV Park in reference to a disturbance. A report was taken but the caller did not want to press charges for an assault that occurred a week prior. Sgt. Meagher also responded to a residence on Church Street in Fayetteville for a hospice inquest.
Deputy Chris Stansberry responded to an address on Turkey Creek Road in Ledbetter, an arrest was made for public intoxication. Deputy Stansberry also responded to a welfare check at a residence on Spur 92 near La Grange, the resident was found deceased, appearing to have passed from natural causes.
Deputy Herman Olvera assisted the Cattle Ranger with the arrest of two males at the Flatonia Auction Barn.
Sergeant Ron Naumann responded to the antique show in Round Top. A dealer was criminally trespassed from one of the show properties. Sgt. Naumann also responded to a welfare check in Round Top, a female subject was lost and was returned to a responsible party Jail Administrator Brad Neville reports that Fayette County Correction Officers booked in 59 individuals for the month of October. Neville reports that the Jail Staff transported 16 individual(s) to Texas Department of Criminal Justice Facilities throughout the State to begin serving their sentences for crimes committed in Fayette County.
