Several File to Run for LG School Board Spot

The deadline to file for a place on one of the five school boards here in Fayette County was on Friday, Feb. 12 at 5 p.m. Flatonia, Schulenburg, Fayetteville, and Round Top-Carmine had no one new file since last week but in La Grange, three new people have filed.

In La Grange, Place 6 Dr. Kari Brawley and Place 7 Dr. Karen Roberts who are both up for re-election have filed for a place on the board again. Along with them Cynthia Virnau, Emily Gonzalez, and Calvin Mersiovsky have all filed for Place 6.
