Schulenburg Police Seek Info on Recent Burglaries

Schulenburg Police are investigating several recent burglaries.

Surveillance video from a local business on Summit St. (Hwy. 90) show a pair of thieves breaking into a work truck in the early morning hours of Monday, Dec. 29. Another vehicle parked at a private residence was also burglarized that morning.

The thieves got away with thousands of dollars in tools. According to police, some of the items stolen included battery-operated Milwaukee and Dewalt impact drills and saws.

Two days prior, on Saturday, Dec. 27, a business on Huser Blvd. (the Interstate 10 access road), reported a burglary. The business documented 32 missing items including batteries, saws, grinders and other similar tools. The business reported the value of the stolen items at $47,000.
